Banks Lyon is a prestigious, award winning, independent luxury watch & jewellery retailer based in Lancaster and Kendal.
As one of our first customers, we approached them back in 2000, just one year after they had become one of the first jewellers to go online with their single page website.
At a time when there was limited knowledge of the internet, we identified an e-commerce solution and began to future-proof a fully cohesive digital marketing strategy that would improve their online user experience and evolve their online presence.
We work closely with Banks Lyon to create a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that includes SEO and PPC campaigns, as well as Content Marketing and Website Design & Development; aiming to guide their customers through the buying funnel, from sparking interest and desire to closing the deal and generating conversions online and in store.

We took their simple functioning one-page website and began to design and develop a fully responsive e-commerce site, which has helped them evolve online over the years, securing their online presence as the leading luxury independent jewellery and watch retailer in the North West of England.
Their one-page site has now evolved into a bespoke and fully responsive e-commerce website that now hosts over 7,000 luxury products and has, as a result, assisted Banks Lyon in securing relationships with several luxury brands internationally. Their prominent online presence made them visible to Swiss brand IWC Schaffhausen, for instance, which has since resulted in the Northern retailer becoming the largest official stockists of this luxury brand in the North West of England.
Our SEO approach has consisted of highly strategic on-site campaigns to drive organic traffic to the website by positioning them within the first page of Google and driving a targeted audience to their impressive luxury product pages.
To consolidate brand awareness, strengthen brand identity and increase revenue, a paid media strategy was put in place to complement search engine optimisation. Using Google Ads, Google Display Network, Facebook and Instagram, we have been able to create a seamless user journey, from re-marketing at the initial customer touchpoint, through to enquiry and purchase. This strategic approach, to promote a strong brand identity on local, national, and international scale, has delivered results by guiding the customer experience from the initial brand awareness stage right through to customer aftercare.
This work was then complemented with a fully optimised content marketing strategy, creating unique and high-quality content to deliver a consistent prestige brand message across all customer touchpoints and online platforms, from the website itself to search engine results and social media.
