Before we created Kendal Tile & Stone’s original e-commerce website, the company’s presence and customer base didn’t reach much farther than Kendal and surrounding areas. The new website changed this, and it allowed them to cater to customers all around the country.
Once we delivered the website project, which enabled Kendal Tile & Stone to showcase and sell tiles online, our focus changed to creating digital marketing campaigns that would help the company achieve its goals. The digital marketing services included SEO, Content and PPC, as well as maintaining and improving the website when it came to user experience.
To continue improving the user experience and ensure that the website remained optimised for search engines, our web design team created a new site, this time in WordPress using WooCommerce. The platform integrates with content and allows the company to sell any products they want, from physical products to digital assets.
The new website benefitted from increased page loading speed, improving the user experience and the overall SEO of the website.
In terms of content marketing, we’ve created campaigns that showcased Kendal Tile & Stone’s products, supporting their SEO and PPC strategies. The campaign included writing blog posts that are product-focused as well as spotlights on the different brands the company offers. We also created articles on interior design, which further help show how the tiles can be used in a home or space.
We also built email marketing strategies for Kendal Tile & Stone, consisting of newsletters that focused on interior décor promoting some of the company’s product ranges.
Be it blog posts or newsletters, the content we create helps us present Kendal Tile & Stone as a thought leader in the industry. The campaign helps to boost the brand awareness of the company and the products it sells, ultimately resulting in more conversions.
Kendal Tile & Stone also tasked us to boost the sales of their products. To achieve this, we created numerous PPC campaigns over the years, intending to increase enquiries that led to online sales and price requests.
We achieved this through a combination of shopping ads that promoted tiles in Google Shopping and search campaigns that highlighted their feature range of tile brands.
As part of our digital marketing efforts, we also developed an SEO strategy that aimed to increase site visibility in search engines and draw attention to the range of products offered by Kendal Tile & Stone. We added Product Schema on multiple product pages, a type of structured data that provides search engines more information on specific products – in this case, the tiles the company sells.
We also optimised individual product pages and category pages across the website, which resulted in increased impressions and clicks in search.
